Ginger's World Website – Academic Design
I am pleased to present the academic design project for "Ginger's World", created as an exercise during my training. This work was an opportunity to delve into various aspects of web design and prototyping, with a focus on market research and analysis. Being an academic project, some graphic choices may be more dated than current trends, but each element has been carefully studied to ensure a solid design base.
Conception and Analysis
The first step was to define the concept of the site, followed by the analysis of the main competitors. I identified the strengths and weaknesses of each competitor in order to design a website that would effectively respond to the needs of the target.
Personas Research and Development
To better understand the target, I conducted a series of interviews, focus groups and questionnaires. Subsequently, I created detailed Personas using the Miro tool, representing the target users, to guide design choices at each stage of the project.
Layout Design and Prototyping
I developed initial wireframes on Miro to define the site structure and content layout. Subsequently, I created detailed mockups of the pages using Sketch, to visualize the complete design. Finally, I linked and animated the mockups in InVision, transforming them into an interactive prototype that simulates the final user experience.
Interactive Prototype
The interactive prototype is available on InVision and allows you to explore the entire navigable layout, offering a concrete representation of how the site would look in reality.
